The Upendra Natha Brahma Trust (UNBT) was established in July 1999 in memory of the late “Bodofa Upendra Natha Brahma”, the Father of Bodo People, by the initiative of the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) – the student body of the Bodo community.
The UNBT Trust then constituted the Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Soldier of Humanity Award. This award is conferred to the awardee every year by the UNBT Kokrajhar. This year 2023 award celebration will be the 20th edition.
